Amrita Shergil

Born to a Jewish mother and a Sikh father, Amrita Shergil is one of the most important Indian women painters. She generally drew portraits of women. She died at the age of 28. 
Her most famous artworks include; Bride's toilet, Three girls and the Hill woman.
